Fun @ Kizsports 1U

Teng Hong always gets excited every time Kizsports is mentioned. That place has become one of our family favorite weekend outings since last year. We frequent it almost every other week to let the children to have fun and at the same time to burn some extra fat.

Here are some photographs of Teng Hong since his first visit to Kizsports until now. He was 17m+ then.

Teng Hong is now older and stronger; he can climb up to the highest slide by himself and crawl through the tunnels pretty fast. Mummy can’t catch up with him anymore.

As for Xin Yi, her first outing to Kizsports was when she was 6m+. She could only play at the “below 3 years old” sections then. Now, she started to join kor-kor in exploring the tunnels and climb the multi level slides, of course with the help of “kakak”. Time really flies.

There were two gathering for Mummies held at Kizsports, as far as I know. Should we hold some more gatherings at Kizsports?

Teng Hong's First Concert

A month ago, Teng Hong’s teacher told mummy that he was not ready to join the concert, saying that he was always running around, refused to practice the dance and was always calling for mummy during the practice. However, after talking to a friend and SIL, who were kindie teachers, mummy insisted that Teng Hong should take part in the concert. Mummy has the confident that he could do it.

Tadika Bethany Montessori 12th Annual Concert & Graduation was held at Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort yesterday, and all the schools in the Bethany Group (United Garden, Desa Petaling and Sri Sentosa) took part. The turned out was a huge crowd.

Teng Hong had performed well in the Concert. Mummy was very happy. Even “kakak” said: “Wah! Teng Hong boleh juga dancing ya”, ke ke ke …

I feel that the most important part of this exercise is… Teng Hong had fun!

Big and Strong!

My little boy has grown up … Here is what he told mummy a few minutes ago.

th : Mummy, Teng Hong this one hard hard (at the same time he pointed to his upper arm and pressed it)
m : why ? what happened to your arm ? (mummy felt a bit worry)
th : Because Teng Hong drink so much “susu”, so it become big and strong!
m : LOL ... Teng Hong, Teng Hong, you are so cute, mummy thought you injured yourself again.

Xin Yi @ 16 months

Xin Yi has turned 16 months, time really flies.

Growth:

• Weight : 10.8 kg
• Height : 78 cm
• Teeth : 8 incisor + 2 left primary molar (on the way)

Diet:

• milk 210 ml, 3x daily
• either rice, potatoes, noodles or vermicelli 2x a day
• snacks between meals: bread, cereal, biscuits or fruits

Development:

• started running
• learning to somersault
• climbing
• has started going to the washroom for her wee-wee since last month; she only wear diapers when we go out and when she goes to bed
• understand instructions, such as, “clean up”, “put down your legs” and “(put your) legs in front”
• can talk or perhaps mumble words like car, star, down, fan, kong (call grandpa), ma-ma (call grandma), ka-ka, kor-kor, bye-bye, no-no, por–por, kai-kai, apple, baby, open, buka, minta
• likes to scribble
• stack mega blocks
  

First Sand Art

Teng Hong had wished to do Sand Art for some time now, but it was always "NO" from mummy until yesterday at KizSports. He picked up an Ultraman picture and started with it. Here's the result ...

Daddy's Birthday

Early morning, mummy and Teng Hong sang the Birthday song to daddy, Xin Yi mei-mei didn't join as she couldn't sing yet.

And to celebrate it, daddy has promised to take us for some cakes after dinner. Little Teng Hong was so excited coz he loves cakes very much.

At the end, we went to Secret Recipe to have some cakes, Teng Hong chose his favourite cake, Chocolate Chip Walnut and mummy chose Tiramisu + Marble Cheese cakes for the family. The kids were happily enjoying their cakes.
