Weird Sleeping Habit

Ever since we bought a new mattress for him last December, Teng Hong has developed a weird sleeping habit. He likes to sleep on the floor with his head on the King Koil kid’s mattress, 6 inches above. We tried to shift him to the mattress but after a while he will move back to the floor. We did a few times in a night until we gave up. *roll eyes*
Our concern is his sleeping posture, afraid that it will lead to a back problem later.

Why not a bed for Teng Hong, some of you might ask… it’s mainly for safety reason; so he won’t accidentally roll down to the floor while sleeping. A 4 years old boy fell from the bed while sleeping and suffered brain dead!

Any of your children has any weird sleeping habit?

perhaps the floor feels cooler? maybe can use pillows/bolsters to block the bed so that he won't roll down? or is he doing it consciously?

sting,
floor feels cooler but harder leh,
pillows/bolsters can't help, he can roll and sleep at the pillows/bolsters and the next turn will be floor :(

I think he did it consciously or half sleep, hehe...

You may wanna let him dose off first, then carry him to the mattress. You know, our concern is same as yours and we ended up removing the bed frame and put our king sized bed on the floor.

there's a magnet he's attracted to. My gal can sleep and turn around the whole bed.
