First Day at New Preschool

After our last minute shopping yesterday, finally Teng Hong was ready to go back to school. Yeah, this new preschool briefed us on what to bring to school. Beside the common items like: school bag, pencils, color pencils, eraser, glue, scissors, and water tumbler, the students also need to bring wet tissue and dry hand towel, water color paint brush-flat tip about 1 cm in width and a black White Board marker pen Artline 500.

Teng Hong was so excited since a few days before school opening. He was even more excited when he saw his new school bag which was sent by Aunty Junko all the way from Japan. He kept asking mummy whether he can bring that bag to school or not? Yup, of course he can, but he has to promise to take good care of it since he had spoilt at least 3 school bags last year (all were spoilt at the zip).

This year Teng Hong is going to another preschool. Mummy decided to move him to this preschool with the hope he could get some improvement in character building.

This morning he woke up early and asked mummy to help him get ready to school. He was so excited. Arrived at school, with confident steps he walked to the lift which will take him to his class, but all of a sudden, he changed when he saw a male teacher near the lift. He refused to go into the lift; instead he walked up the stairs, sigh! Yeah, this little boy has been scared of men since he was a baby; mummy also doesn’t know why? He is only not scared of his daddy and grandpa!

Mummy took him to the class and stayed with him for about 10 minutes, after convinced him that everything would be alright and talked to his teacher (a lady), mummy then left. Later when mummy returned to pick him up from school, he looked so happy and told us that he likes his new preschool!

Phew! What a relief!
