Last Saturday, when I was still snuggling under my blanket suddenly hubby woke me up, telling me that I had a call from Indonesia. I dragged myself up. For a second I was wondering who is calling me in the wee hours of the morning. It’s only around 4.30am!
Before I got my answer, the other party already started to blame me for having an affair with her husband. For a moment, I still couldn’t figure out who was on the phone until she mentioned her husband’s name. I told her that’s not true. What happened was the husband sent me a birthday message a few days ago. That’s all!
Being so emotional, she, whom I never talked to, couldn’t accept what I said!
Later she sent me a few SMS (Short Message Service), saying that I am so lucky, I have been married but still received birthday wish from her husband who didn’t remember his own wife’s birthday.
She also said her husband already confessed to having had an affair with me, why don’t I confess? And bla bla bla…
OMG, I don’t know whether she or her husband made up such a silly story. Though her husband and I were good friends during our University days, we never dated. And now, I am a happily married woman with a happy family which I love so much. It never crossed my mind to have an affair!
She called me again in the late afternoon while I was sending my boy to Tae Kwan-Do class, so I just ignored it. I then sent SMS (with a copy sent to her husband) to tell her that nowadays it’s quite common to send birthday wish to friends and this year I received a lot of birthday wishes which came from my family in Indonesia, my hubby and kids, ex-university friends, school friends, colleagues, etc., not only from her husband!
At the end, I told her to never disturb or call me ever again!
As soon as I sent the SMS, her husband SMS me to apologize.
Two more SMS from her were sent to me on that day but I just ignored them and since then she never disturb me again.
It has been a week now; hopefully there will be no such problem happen again in future!

Strange Indonesian woman......I guess she herself has relationship problem with her hubby.

Hi Martini, Holy Smoke! I have been woken up by long lost so called friends at 3am, middle of Winter....but thank goodness not from someone's husband.....in your case a wife.
Oh boy! Talk about a jealous wife! And surprisingly how she knew about the card?
But glad, or hope your sleep will not be disturb again....unless get a call from Toronto, ha ha.

Hi Martini, just to let you know, there was, there is 2 comments stuck in my blog Immigration checkpoint past months and I just can't clear it to let the comments appear....I didn't know who it was from.

It's not the card but SMS (Short Message Service) via mobile phone.
I guess the wife must have checked the husband's phone and found out the birthday message.
Anyway, it's over now and I learn that there is such a jealous wife!
