He Got Stitches
This morning father-in-law went to a nearby government clinic. He has not been feeling well since last Saturday. He complained that he has a lot of phlegm and no appetite; he only had a few bites of breads since Sunday and as a result he felt very weak and like floating in the air.
Back from clinic, I bought him vermicelli (mee sua) but he has no appetite. He only took a bit and went to nap. Later when he woke up, I asked him to eat some biscuits. I saw him ate some and went back to his room to rest.
At around 4.35pm, to refresh himself father-in-law had a shower. As usual he took a long shower.
I was shocked when I heard noise from inside the bathroom. Father-in-law fell down; hubby who just came back from office, rushed in and crashed the bathroom’s door. We found father-in-law half-sitting half-lying on the floor; he was too weak to get up on his own. There was an open wound on the back of his head and two scratches at his back. He slipped and knocked his head on the wall. Luckily there was not much bleeding.
After let father-in-law rest for a while, hubby called his brother and later they sent the father to hospital for stitching.
Came back from hospital, father-in-law napped again. When he got up, I managed to get him eat some rice before he went back to sleep.
Poor father-in-law, hope he gets well soon.

Back to School (3rd Jan 2011)
After a long year-end school holidays, finally the kids went back to school last Monday.
Both Teng Hong and Xin Yi were not as excited as last year. Teng Hong even cried when I woke him up that morning. Beside tired because we just came back from our Singapore trip two days before school started, he afraid of doing homework. I told him there won’t be any homework at the first day of school. But later he came back with one homework and complaint that I didn’t let him bring the workbook to school. Oh boy, I think teacher won't start teaching, it’s the first day of school and there was no timetable. I was wrong!
At the first day of school re-open, Teng Hong copied back the timetable. I am glad that he was able to copy back all. In fact, I made a copy of the timetable too while I was at the school. I was afraid he would miss some of the characters.
Xin Yi already went to kindie when I reached home. Luckily hubby was still on holiday, so he could help Xin Yi to get ready and sent her to kindie while I was at Teng Hong’s school settle the required payment.
Teng Hong @2011
Xin Yi @2010
Look, how much they have grown in a year...
